Community Resource Network

Serving Rockingham County, Strafford County and southern York County

Spearheaded by Director Susan Turner, the Community Resource Network was formed in the late 1990s to fill a need in our community. At that time, professionals in the non-profit sector had to contact multiple agencies to access multiple services for their clients. CRN developed organically as a way to connect the various social service agencies who served the same population. By creating a centralized directory that has grown to include 200+ organizations, members now have an efficient way to search for a range of providers in one place.

Over time, our offerings have expanded to include networking meetings and educational workshops that give agency staff an opportunity to connect in person, share information, and learn more about the resources available. CRN remains committed to our core mission: to support human services workers in ensuring the strength and health of our community.

  • "The Community Resource Network has enabled me to have face-to-face conversations at the quarterly meetings with local key partners that help our WorkReadyNH students in a variety of ways including housing, food insecurities, domestic violence, substance use disorder – to name a few. So often our students do not know which way to turn or even what resources are available to them as they look for employment so we appreciate the efforts of CRN to pull us all together in one space to have the conversations that truly matter! This is what makes a difference to the communities that we’re helping! Thank you for all that you do to help people from all walks of life!"
